Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's financial books, records, and accounting policies.

The General Ledger Accountant will work closely with the Head of Finance and Controller to ensure the accurate maintenance of the Company's financial statements.

Responsibilities
  • Support the company's month-end close procedures and maintain associated workpapers in accordance with GAAP and best practices
  • Manage the entire fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal
  • Coordinate with the Revenue / Receivables team to drive timely cash applications
  • Execute month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and ensure proper elimination entries are made for consolidating multiple legal entities
  • Assist in preparing schedules and providing documentation for annual financial audits
Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience as an in-house accounting professional preparing month-end close reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
  • A completed university degree in accounting; CPA (or similar international charter) preferred but not required
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite and Ramp is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and Google Sheets is also required
  • Comprehensive familiarity with GAAP accounting; advanced proficiency in lease accounting is a plus but not required
