Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Consumer Lending Business Center in Cebu. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies for auto and housing loans within the designated area of coverage.
About the Role

The Head, Consumer Lending Business Center will oversee the efficient and effective operations of the business center, ensuring that all consumer loan activities are aligned with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing business development strategies in close coordination with branches, car dealers, and real estate developers/dealers/brokers to achieve profitability/volume targets.
  • Soliciting auto/home loans in accordance with set targets by management through implementing strategies in consumer lending business center operations.
  • Formulating and implementing business plans to ensure quality loan portfolios by reducing past due accounts and maintaining appropriate documentation of all loans.
  • Providing regular market performance reports and assessments to Head Office regarding market trends, competitiveness, and latest developments.
  • Ensuring effective operations in consonance with bank policies, BSP, and other regulatory bodies' regulations and customers' expectations.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience, preferably with expertise in consumer loans.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in managing home loans and car loans.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in people management.
