Residential Drafting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Residential Drafting Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who possess strong drafting skills and experience in residential construction.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of building codes, permitting standards, and local GIS systems. Additionally, they should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating lot-specific drawings, revising existing plan documents, and organizing work for computer access. They will also provide timely support to builders on-site and expedite permitting by liaising with city/county staff.

- An associate's degree in the related field; bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 2-5 years of drafting experience or equivalent.
- Residential construction or home remodeling drafting experience required.
- Familiarity with building codes and permitting standards in WA and OR preferred.
- Ability to conduct internet research and familiarity with local GIS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Hands-on construction experience (e.g., framing) is helpful but not required.
