
Business Expansion Ambassador

The primary objective of this role is to uncover customer projects that align with our product offerings and promote the value of Canonical across various industries and geographical locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing outbound sales and marketing strategies
- Conducting research on prospective customers and market trends
- Generating high-quality leads for senior sellers to fuel a substantial pipeline
- Overseeing and closing SMB opportunities within designated territories
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive results
- Contributing to the development of processes and policies for the team
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Demonstrated success in SDR or outbound sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual quotas and driving qualified pipeline growth
- Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into senior executive levels to identify new customer opportunities
- Background in enterprise software or technology sales
- Exceptional academic credentials from both high school and university
- Passion for business and technology
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement - curious, flexible, scientific
