Housekeeping Supervisor Job Title: Operations Coordinator Ensure the general operation, cleanliness and maintenance of all areas are overseen. Work under supervision and substitute during absence.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shift reports.
  • Train, evaluate, and motivate staff.
  • Ensure highest standard of cleanliness in all areas.
  • Keep stock records and ensure sufficient cleaning supplies.
  • Conduct refresher trainings for housekeeping employees.
  • Maintain stock inventories.
  • Main strong working relationship with other departments.
  • Handle guest complaints and missing items.
  • Prioritize VIPs and provide superior service.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are observed.
  • Record maintenance and defects found in rooms and corridors.
  • Ensure required repairs/maintenance is completed promptly.
  • Provide room attendants proper tools and adequate supplies.
  • Ensure pantries are adequately stocked with linen and neatly organized.
  • Conduct daily staff briefings.
  • Prepare daily shift roster and maintain absence statistics.
  • Ensure employees on public areas wear nametags and are properly groomed.
  • Conduct quality inspection of assigned guestrooms.
  • Prepare Room Inspection Checklist for vacant clean rooms.
  • Assess room situation and put out-of-order status as necessary.
  • Declare lost & found items in guest rooms.
  • Endorse information within the shift on the Supervisors logbook.
  • Analyze training needs and conduct training.
  • Implement safety standards and conduct training.
  • Analyze and make recommendations for Room Attendants performance.
  • Prepare cleaning schedule for the whole year.
  • Conduct pantry inventory prior to requesting from storeroom.
  • Practice good expense management.
  • Conduct inventory for supplies, room equipment, and machines.
  • Record critical incidents and discuss solutions to the team.
