The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a key role in our Ecommerce team, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. With a focus on growth and revenue expansion, the BDR will leverage their skills to research, qualify, and convert leads into sales.
As a hybrid-based position, this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, with a persuasive approach to engage clients and build meaningful relationships. Proficiency in sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM systems is essential.
Responsibilities- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research potential clients within target markets and initiate outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to create sales opportunities.
- Lead Qualification: Utilize established frameworks to qualify leads and pass them to the sales team for conversion, maintaining a healthy pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Relationship Building: Develop trust with prospects by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions, with ongoing communication to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Account Management Support: Assist with administrative or operational tasks for existing accounts as needed, collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Reporting & CRM Management: Accurately track activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system, providing regular updates on outreach efforts and results to management.
- At least 3 years in an outbound sales, business development, or lead generation role.
- Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry is preferred.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and related software tools.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
