Revenue Security Specialist

Secure revenue for the sales organization by building strong customer relationships and fostering ongoing interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact business-to-business customers to discuss outstanding invoices and billing issues via phone, email, or fax.
  • Manage a collections portfolio ranging from 300 to 600 accounts in Canada and/or the US.
  • Negotiate customer payment terms based on account status to ensure maximum recovery.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships while championing receivable policies.
  • Work with internal sales reps to troubleshoot payment issues such as invoicing, pricing, or product/service concerns.
  • Document and track collections activity using monthly aging reports.
  • Meet individual and departmental receivable targets.
  • Reconcile accounts regularly.
Requirements:
  • A completed college diploma in Accounting or Finance, or related experience.
  • Two to three years of corporate collections experience focusing on medium to enterprise-level customers.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable escalation processes and resolving account issues.
  • Fundamental accounting principles understanding.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Similar experience managing portfolios of accounts.
  • Customer service orientation.
