Remote Disaster Relief Customer Service Representative

MCI specializes in delivering tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of clients. We are seeking agents to work as needed in response to disaster relief efforts.
This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs. The ideal candidate will apply customer service techniques and learn account management systems while enhancing the customer experience during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers with inquiries
- Learn common requests and solutions
- Improve the customer's experience
- Utilize service techniques and systems
- Escalate dissatisfaction to proper channels
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of Windows operating systems
- High reliability with regular attendance and punctuality
- Able to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues
- Conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation aptitude
- Customer service orientation (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- Thriving in fast-paced environments with change and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building
