Government Contracting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to spearhead and manage the government contracting process for service apartment rentals or pest control services.

This role demands in-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, regulations, and strategies to secure contracts effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, ITBs) to identify opportunities aligned with company offerings.
  • Prepare, review, and submit competitive bids and proposals ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Conduct cost estimation, pricing analysis, and risk assessment to develop effective bidding strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather input and create accurate and compelling proposals.
  • Liaise with government agencies and contracting officers to clarify requirements and strengthen business relationships.
  • Track bid status, conduct post-bid evaluations, and implement lessons learned to improve future outcomes.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in government contracting, with a focus on service apartment rentals or pest control.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes.
  • Expertise in preparing and submitting compliant bids, including experience with pricing models and cost estimation.
  • Proficiency in bid management software and tools such as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with federal agencies or government contract platforms.
  • Knowledge of specific industry requirements for service apartment rentals or pest control.
  • Certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
