Consolidation Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidation Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.

The position will report to the Director of Accounting and be responsible for month-end functions working with the Corporate Accounting team. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 6 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
  • Work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Suggest and support process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Support the corporate accounting team during month-end close.
  • Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • At least 6 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
