Document Control Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of project documents in both digital and physical formats.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience in document control or project coordination within the design, architecture, or construction industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documents.
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy, including contracts and project-related materials.
  • Update technical documents such as manuals, workflows, and specifications.
  • Distribute project documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders on time.
  • Manage document control registers, including post-contract records.
  • Create and manage document templates to standardize processes.
  • Support team members and clients in retrieving documentation when required.
  • Oversee documentation flow across departments to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Prepare project reports and summaries as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in document control or project coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience in the design, architecture, or construction industry is preferred.
