As a Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal support to business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts;
  • Providing tax advice on operational and project activities;
  • Representing the company in contract negotiations and litigation;
  • Providing labor advisory and contracting services;
  • Assisting with day-to-day matters.

Litigation and Dispute Management

  • Represent the Company in litigations/disputes with courts and administrative agencies;
  • Direct the case preparation and oversee the filing and handling of cases;
  • Maintain close coordination with external lawyers.

Operations Compliance Management

  • Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • Provide compliance and advisory services;
  • Handle reply and remediation of notices of violations.

Stakeholder Management

Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Solid analytical and organizational skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Computer literate and tech savvy;
  • Robust advocacy skills;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Experience

  • At least 7-8 years of experience in legal practice;
  • Strong experience in litigation and dispute resolution;
  • Preferably with experience in tax litigation and compliance.

Education

  • LLB or JD;

Qualifications

  • Lawyer in good standing;
