The Field Medical Manager plays a key role in leading stakeholder-centric engagement, executing medical-to-medical initiatives, and developing external stakeholder strategies. This involves aligning with category medical strategy and collaborating with Category Medical/MISP Medical Lead to implement and deliver medical projects in country.

The Field Medical Manager is accountable for the following areas:

  • Developing external stakeholder engagement strategies in alignment with Category Medical strategy
  • Establishing and strengthening medical and scientific relationships with external stakeholders
  • Capturing data communication and medical insights effectively
  • Collaborating with Category Medical lead to conduct advisory boards, organize educational/training workshops/meetings, and participate in medical/scientific conferences

Field Medical Manager responsibilities include:

  • In collaboration with Category Medical/MISP Medical Lead, conducting timely medical initiatives such as Educational Medical grant, Research grant, and Compassionate Use Program, etc.
  • Ensuring timely and efficient communications to complete required internal/external approval processes including system administration and maintaining good documentation, etc.

This role also involves Pfizer-sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with operational requirements, familiarity with internal regulation requirements, and effective communication with cross-functional partners to ensure project quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills

- Strong project management skills

- Effective communication skills in English

- Proven ability to work in cross-functional networks

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and healthcare environments

Managerial Skills

- Experience in managing field-based medical functions

Certifications/Education

- Bachelor's degree in medical or clinical or biotechnology science or above

- Additional training/diploma in management (e.g., MBA) would be advantageous

Experience

- Experience in external engagement

- Strong presentation skills
