Sr. Application Support Specialist

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing senior-level application support to ensure the smooth operation of business applications. The Sr. Application Support Specialist will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer programming, analysis, and troubleshooting, with experience in Level 2 Application Support, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

At least 3 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and troubleshooting application.

At least 1 year of experience in Level 2 Application Support, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.

Ability to analyze user requirements and specifications and translate into program codes.

Ability to test and debug program codes.

Ability to handle support in the context of current user specification.

Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
