The Role of a Helpline ResponderWe seek experienced mental health professionals to join our team as crisis helpline responders. This role involves responding to calls, texts, and chats in a timely and empathetic manner.
Duties and Responsibilities- Respond to crisis situations while maintaining high-quality standards for interactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders through effective communication channels.
- Utilize systems to track client information and coordinate follow-up care.
- Work closely with the operations team to address clients' needs effectively.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a helpline responder.
- Training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or its equivalent.
- Certification in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
- A Master's degree in Psychology is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A willingness to learn and improve continuously.
