The Role of a Helpline Responder

We seek experienced mental health professionals to join our team as crisis helpline responders. This role involves responding to calls, texts, and chats in a timely and empathetic manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis situations while maintaining high-quality standards for interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders through effective communication channels.
  • Utilize systems to track client information and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Work closely with the operations team to address clients' needs effectively.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a helpline responder.
  • Training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or its equivalent.
  • Certification in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
  • A Master's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • A willingness to learn and improve continuously.
