Australian Payroll Analyst Role

Our organization seeks an accomplished payroll expert to deliver comprehensive end-to-end payroll services for Australia and New Zealand entities. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can effectively resolve questions received through the ticketing tool and email, while reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, reconcile, file/lodgment, and pay PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi saver, and all statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand.
  • Ensure strict compliance with government statutory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough audits of payroll records to guarantee accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the taxation of salaries, benefits, and other relevant factors.
  • Resolve complex payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing detailed information.
  • Provide support, guidance, and assistance with ongoing process improvement projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in Australian payroll management.
  • Proven expertise in payroll processing and wage attachment procedures.
  • Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems is essential.
  • Demonstrated advanced quantitative and analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
