Accounts Payable Professional

Home-Based Accounts Payable Associate page is loaded. As a key player in our team, you will oversee invoice processing and payment, manage vendor relations, keep an up-to-date vendor database, and provide relevant AP reporting.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong organizational and time management skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
Entering vendor bills into NetSuite with accuracy and completeness.
Performing a three-way match (PO, receiving, invoice) to ensure proper authorization and compliance.
Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies, quantity/price variances, or missing documentation.
This role also involves maintaining responsibility for approximately 300 vendor accounts, communicating directly with vendors regarding billing questions, missing documents, and payment status, building and sustaining strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders (Account Management and Operations teams).
Additionally, this role requires ensuring all invoices are processed in accordance with company policy and month-end close deadlines, monitoring vendor statements and reconciling accounts regularly to prevent overdue balances, and maintaining organized records for audit readiness and compliance.
The ideal candidate for this role should be able to identify opportunities to streamline invoice entry and matching processes, participate in process improvement initiatives, and support system enhancements in NetSuite.
Key qualifications for this role include 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment, experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems, familiarity with purchase order and three-way matching processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications.
