We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to lead the development of data solutions, working closely with customers to understand their reporting requirements. As a seasoned developer, you will be responsible for creating well-performing star schema data models and crafting comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery meetings to determine reporting needs
  • Create high-performance data models using calculated columns and measures
  • Develop complex reports and dashboards using DAX and source queries
  • Guide customers on deploying data solutions to the Power BI service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years working with data and business intelligence solutions on the Microsoft tool stack for Business Intelligence (SSRS, Power BI, or PowerPivot)
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and its data components, including Power Query/M, DAX, and dimensional modeling
  • Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions based on business questions with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters
  • Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
  • Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M language
