Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our team.

This is a remote role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.


About the Role
  • Report to an Australia-based manager and collaborate closely with senior management to support financial success.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with stakeholders to prepare and analyze monthly management accounts.
  2. Presenting financial results at management meetings.
  3. Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and returns.
  4. Managing external auditor relations and audit queries.
  5. Partnering with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts.
  6. Supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in media or related sectors.
  • A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred).
  • Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising.
  • Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage.
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated.
  • Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
