As a billing specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the accounts receivable process for U.S. and European companies.
The accounts receivable specialist is responsible for preparing accurate invoices, managing outstanding payments, reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining detailed records of billing transactions and customer communications.
Responsibilities:- Invoice Preparation: Create and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring accurate billing information.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Track and manage outstanding payments, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Customer Account Reconciliation: Verify customer account balances and address any billing issues that may arise.
- Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain detailed records of billing transactions and customer communications.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and monthly summaries.
- Accounting Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
