Family Caregiver Support Specialist

Making family care possible. At Abby Care, we are tackling one of the most important and unsolved challenges of our time: family caregiving.

Our mission is clear and ambitious: to train and employ family caregivers so they can get paid for the care they already provide at home.

We are rapidly expanding our mission and looking for passionate team members to join us. We have partnered with leading insurance plans, healthcare providers, and community organizations to empower families throughout the country.

The Role

This is not your typical sales or customer success position. Instead, you'll be working with real families with real human problems.

  • You will collect, review, and track required documentation from caregivers and families (e.g., IDs, certifications, health records).
  • You will make outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries to guide families through the documentation process.
  • You will handle a high volume of phone interactions daily while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • You will ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with state and Medicaid/Medicare regulations.
  • You will communicate clearly and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email.
  • You will maintain organized records and track expiring documents, sending timely reminders.
  • You will collaborate with onboarding, credentialing, and family support teams to deliver a smooth experience.
