As a Senior Engineer in our Lean Manufacturing department, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and financial objectives. Your expertise in Lean manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma principles will enable you to lead the development and implementation of Lean programs, ensuring their long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of Lean manufacturing concepts and programs, focusing on cost reduction and workflow optimization initiatives.

  • Mentor project teams, acting as a bridge between teams and Lean leadership to ensure action items are addressed and completed.

  • Execute Lean manufacturing techniques, identify and implement cost reductions, and optimize workflow and cell designs for improved shop throughput.

  • Plan, execute, and manage continuous improvement projects to achieve defined objectives and financial targets.

  • Regularly track progress, milestones, and savings of active projects, conducting and participating in meetings to assess execution and thoroughness of Lean content.

  • Communicate the Lean group's philosophy, vision, and expectations, developing and sustaining employee training and development on Lean concepts.

  • Partner with Lean Champions to train and coach operations on Lean concepts, assisting in the Lean deployment program through process improvement and efficiency recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing.

  • Proven experience and strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts, with practical application skills.
