Job Overview

Our maintenance team performs repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of our machines and facilities. Each team member is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.

This role requires performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety protocols and preventive maintenance systems. This ensures support for the achievement of our site's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for utility equipment and machinery.
  • Optimize equipment performance and product quality by following standard procedures, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Maintain routine calibration and upkeep of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Manage system data storage and uphold high standards of accuracy.
  • Oversee the introduction of new machinery, plant, and equipment from specification to supplier management.
  • Analyze problems and resolve them efficiently.
  • Determine and deploy necessary technical skills, resource levels, and systems to deliver projects, including external resources when needed.
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
  • Set departmental objectives and review ongoing performance of direct reports.
  • Prepare annual maintenance budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and managing budgets from start to completion.
  • Manage cross-functional team members and follow up on skill development.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for optimal performance.
  • Safeguard Health & Safety regulations, company handbook guidelines, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other company policies and procedures.
