Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the procurement function, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess material and component requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Purchase relatively complex direct materials, customer-furnished equipment, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Process price variances based on established procedures.
  • Track and confirm material and component delivery dates from suppliers to support schedule-go and PRW processes.
  • Expedite, align, and negotiate material and component delivery dates to meet operations' needs.
  • Communicate potential risks and recommend mitigating activities to support material need dates.
  • Resolve issues such as pre-delivery variance, grief, action requests, invoice discrepancies, stock/delivery mismatches, and order cancellations.
  • Manage assigned suppliers, commodities, perform sourcing, and process work transfers as needed.
  • Lead process improvements, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using core and other tools.
  • Collaborate with seating sites to discuss supply chain procedures and communicate with suppliers.
  • Represent supply chain in collaborative alignment meetings to support operations' build schedules and product quality.
  • Consolidate and report supply chain KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mid-senior level experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
