Key Roles of a Financial Professional

We seek an experienced accounting professional to manage financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and enhance efficiency.

Financial Management – Oversee daily AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations across entities.

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management – Process invoices, manage payments, and maintain vendor relationships.

Employee Reimbursements – Verify and process claims while ensuring policy compliance.

Payroll Reconciliation – Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate records and compliance.

Financial Reporting – Assist in preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Month-End Close – Perform reconciliations and resolve variances.

Tax & Compliance – Support VAT/GST, payroll, and corporate tax filings.

Cost Management – Track expenses and recommend cost-control improvements.

Process Optimization – Identify automation opportunities and enhance workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (AP, payroll, and financial reporting).
  • Experience with both Australian and US accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS & local accounting standards.
  • Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills & exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
