Legal Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Specialist to provide expert legal support on a project or fixed-term basis.

This role involves providing accurate and timely legal advice to internal teams on a range of matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

The successful candidate will have strong background in contract drafting and management, with proficiency in legal research and AI tools considered an advantage.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal teams on a range of matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Support business initiatives and resolve legal issues by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct legal research on emerging issues, providing clear and concise recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB), Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in law.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or law firm setting.
  • Strong background in contract drafting and management is preferred. Proficiency in legal research and AI tools will be considered an advantage.
