Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Director to lead our project teams in delivering high-quality architectural and construction solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategic Direction:
    • Provide overall leadership to the Roving Team, Quantity Surveying (QS) Team, Procurement Team, and other project-related units.
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align operational processes with the company's long-term goals.
    • Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within all teams.
  • Project Operations Oversight:
    • Supervise all active projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to project scope, and alignment with budget constraints.
    • Oversee project schedules, ensuring that key milestones are achieved while addressing potential delays proactively.
    • Ensure compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines and uphold company quality standards.
  • Project Deliverables & Turn-Over:
    • Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring all deliverables meet design specifications and client expectations.
    • Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress and facilitate timely handover to clients, complete with all required documentation and quality assurances.
    • Verify that projects are delivered with full compliance and necessary certifications.
  • Team Management & Coordination:
    • Coordinate activities among various teams to streamline project execution and enhance collaboration.
    • Set clear performance objectives for each team member, fostering a sense of accountability for their contributions.
    • Mentor and support team development, encouraging professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Cost Management & Budget Control:
    • Collaborate closely with the QS Team to produce accurate cost estimates and ensure project profitability.
    • Oversee procurement activities to ensure materials are sourced effectively while maintaining high quality.
    • Implement cost-control measures to ensure projects remain within budget and review financial reports regularly.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, senior management, and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
    • Provide comprehensive project status updates, including risks, progress, and budget performance, to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Quality Control & Risk Management:
    • Implement quality control processes to ensure project standards and specifications are consistently met.
    • Identify potential risks related to project timelines, budgets, or quality and develop effective mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed at all project sites.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation:
    • Continuously review operational processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
    • Lead the adoption of new technologies or tools that can streamline project execution and foster collaboration.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and inform future projects.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all teams comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies and maintain accurate records of project activities.
    • Prepare reports for audits and reviews, ensuring transparency and accountability in operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary: ₱120,000 - ₱180,000 per month.
