As a seasoned accounting professional, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team and manage day-to-day financial operations in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately maintain financial records using advanced accounting software.
  • Perform job costing and track expenses by project to ensure efficient budgeting and cost control.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments with precision and speed.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, and balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review plans, material take-offs, and subcontractor bids to support estimating efforts.
  • Provide payroll management and ensure compliance with labor laws to minimize risk.
Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and job costing methodologies.
  • Experience with estimating processes, bids, or take-offs is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in advanced accounting software and Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
