Job Description

We are hiring a Traffic Management Designer and Planner with specialized knowledge in Victoria (VIC) and Queensland (QLD) regulations. The ideal candidate will design comprehensive traffic management plans, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and contribute to safe and efficient traffic flow solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design traffic management plans for VIC & QLD projects
  • Prepare traffic management plans in accordance with Australian Standards and Codes of Practice
  • Plan and design plans for safe work implementation with compliance to Australian standards and Codes of Practice
  • Daily liaison with road authorities for plan authorizations, ensuring all MOA's are current and updated
  • Risk analysis of sites for plan coordination
  • Ensure appropriate risk management processes are being implemented and are effective
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Traffic Management Planning (TMP) and creating Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS)
  • Experience handling requests focusing on Victoria (VIC) and Queensland (QLD)
  • Knowledge of policies and regulations in Victoria (VIC) and Queensland (QLD)
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in AGTTM handbook
  • Proficient in RapidPlan and AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience in handling major events
