Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to provide financial support for our multifamily real estate portfolio.

This role will involve recording and categorizing transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing account reconciliations, managing bank activity, processing payments and disbursements, reconciling corporate credit card activity, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable activity.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in real estate and corporate multi-entity environments is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Yardi software is required
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
