Job Role

Assist in executing a strategy to develop competitive and sustainable business entities by supporting technology incubators.

This role is responsible for implementing the Seda incubation plan, enabling incubators to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Key duties include:

  • Supporting the establishment of technology business incubators and accelerators according to Seda's guidelines.
  • Fostering collaboration between existing and new technology business incubators (TBIs) and accelerators to enhance growth and development.
  • Evaluating TBIs' and accelerators' performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing.
  • Ensuring optimal performance levels for a portfolio of incubators/accelerators.
  • Counseling incubator staff to improve their skills and capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A combination of a Matric certificate and a National Diploma in Operations Management or Business Management or Computer Science.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Business Management or Computer Science as an added advantage.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Enterprise Development/Tech Business Incubation and Business Advising.
  • Proven expertise in an innovative and technology-driven industry.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office and MS Projects.
