Insurance Operations Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our Risk Advisors in their daily operations. The successful candidate will provide dedicated assistance with tasks such as client documentation, coordination, and data entry.
About the Role:
- Prepare insurance quotations, proposals, and renewal documents to facilitate client servicing.
- Accurately process and input data into web-based systems, CRMs, and editable PDFs.
- Maintain and update client records and policy information in the CRM system.
- Issue certificates of insurance upon request.
- Gather and organize client data to prepare insurance policy applications and supporting documentation.
- Manage billing processes with clients and insurance carriers.
- Track outstanding documentation, including policy subjectivities and compliance requirements.
- Draft and send professional communications to clients, insurers, and other stakeholders on behalf of the Risk Advisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry (agency, brokerage, or carrier).
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and processes.
- Experience with insurance management systems or CRMs.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working closely with Risk Advisors.
- Excitement to learn insurance concepts and go above and beyond.
