
Help Desk Specialist

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by addressing routine problems related to client products or services.
This role involves interacting with customers through various channels, including inbound and outbound calls, and online support. The primary objective is to provide timely and effective resolutions to customer inquiries while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that customer service meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Clarify customer requirements and use decision-support tools to resolve issues effectively
- Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, demonstrating empathy while building rapport
- Provide a professional greeting using agreed-upon procedures
- Maintain basic knowledge of client products and services
- Prepare accurate work, including notating accounts as required
- Participate in activities aimed at improving customer satisfaction and business performance
- Offer additional products and/or services
- Track, document, and retrieve information in the call tracking database
- Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials or more senior staff
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma with three to six months of relevant experience preferred
- Courteous with a strong customer service orientation
- Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Skilled in multi-tasking, including flexibility and adaptability
- Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
- Patient in all customer contact situations, maintaining a pleasant tone and manner
- Ability to rotate shifts, as needed
