Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Overview

This is a senior-level role that involves strategically managing warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and vision. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, from inbound and outbound logistics to inventory management and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular studies and provide recommendations to management for strategic initiatives through analytics and strong grasp of local market.
  • Manage various analyses – including cost/benefit, cost-optimization, delivery/returns performance, forecasts, solution feasibility, and more.
  • Oversee staff development and training programs to ensure competency and preparedness for future challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to all warehousing and handling requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
  • 8-10 years total work experience focusing on warehouse operations, or related field.
  • Excellent leadership skill with strong analytical expertise to properly assess data and draw conclusions from it.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Strong problem solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
