Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a leadership role in our Operational Resilience team. As Manager of Global Operational Risk & Resilience Oversight, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business continuity management framework and controls are integrated with and serve to strengthen our operational resilience approach, addressing all standard and regulatory requirements.

This position reports directly to the AVP Operational Resilience Oversight and is part of our second line of defense independent oversight function. You will partner with first line of defense businesses to drive forward-thinking strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective Operational Resilience methodologies and risk domains, including Business Continuity, Third Party, Incident and Crisis, and Disaster Recovery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, comments, and challenges, providing a comprehensive tracking mechanism to manage change.

  • Provide oversight for resilience risk metrics, identify potential breaches, and recommend actions to mitigate risks.

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance knowledge and skills within the organization.

  • Promote a strong risk culture and oversee relevant risk culture assessment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, with expertise in Crisis Management, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, and Third Party Risk Management.

  • Strong understanding of operational processes, risks, and controls.

  • Broad knowledge of financial services/insurance business and related products.

  • Proficiency in MS Office products and data analytics tools.
