Database Administrator Manager

This role is responsible for managing and maintaining AXA PH databases, ensuring security, availability, and optimal performance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Design and implement new database systems and architectures, focusing on MS SQL.
- Develop and maintain database standards and best practices.
- Optimize database performance and resolve related issues.
- Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Perform database backup and recovery operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Internal IT
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:- Graduated in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
- Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with Azure cloud database services.
- Experience with NoSQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
