Product Development Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Product Developer to join our team.

This is a remote position where you will be involved in the entire product development process, working across multiple functions to transform initial concepts into viable commercial products.

Key responsibilities include identifying development needs within existing product ranges, conducting market research to identify new product ideas, researching and evaluating suppliers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.

  • Develop and implement product strategies that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with the product lead to identify development opportunities and prioritize projects.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and consumer preferences.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers to negotiate specifications, costs, MOQs, lead times, and order requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure marketing-related deliverables are completed on time and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Manage project timelines, communicate progress to stakeholders, and ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the baby, kids, or toys categories.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and motivated to push projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Good understanding of Western consumer markets for product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
