As a Business Development Manager, you play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expansion through strategic business development and asset management.

About the Role

This position involves managing a portfolio of high-value digital assets and online businesses. Your responsibilities include guiding sellers through deal preparation, consulting with interested buyers, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of high-value digital assets and online businesses.
  • Providing expert guidance to sellers during deal preparation, including financial review and planning.
  • Consulting with potential buyers, facilitating negotiations, and ensuring successful deal closure.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for deal management, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Prioritizing active buyer interest while also supporting sellers' needs.
  • Tackling various projects that contribute to strategic goals, internal initiatives, and ongoing improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in roles such as M&A Analyst, Investment Analyst, or Self-Service Broker.
  • Experience working with Australian or US-based companies is desirable.
  • A finance or accounting background, particularly with CA/CPA certification, is beneficial.
  • Business brokerage, investment banking, or consulting experience with a focus on revenue generation is preferred.
  • Previous sales experience in finance or technology industries, especially SaaS, is essential.
  • A strong sales mindset, with a proven track record of hitting revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in tools like HubSpot, Gmail, and Zoom.
  • Self-motivation, organization, and relationship-building skills are crucial.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • An interest in digital assets, online products, and entrepreneurial innovation is valuable.
