About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who has experience working in accounts payable and is proficient in Xero. You will work closely with our clients in Australia to provide high-quality services that meet their expectations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Daily Accounts Payable Processing: Manage the daily processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to vendors and suppliers.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with accounts payable processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports related to accounts payable and provide insights to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Data Entry and Administration: Perform data entry tasks related to sales invoicing, AR aging, and sales reporting to maintain accurate financial records.
- Accounting Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent qualification (CPA or non-CPA).
- Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of work experience in accounts payable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently and take lead in understanding and meeting client business needs.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in financial transactions.
- Xero Experience: Experience with Xero is a plus.
- Australian Company Experience: Experience working with an Australian company is a plus.
