Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Assistant. This role involves processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounts payable function.
The successful candidate will administer and deliver the full cycle of accounts payable duties, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payment of goods and services.
- Key responsibilities include timely processing of global supplier invoices, ensuring accurate data is entered into the system, and matching all invoices to a valid purchase order / supplier contract.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive with communication and respond promptly to any supplier queries/disputes regarding payment, actioning all supplier queries / disputes received both by phone and email.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of experience working within a busy/fast paced Finance team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to organise and prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines, possessing excellent numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
