Job Title: Account Payable Supervisor

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of A/P Clerks, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX guidelines, and firm standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stateside Manager and Supervisors to receive training and guidance on applicable responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing training and staff assistance to team members.
  • Maintain current desktop procedures and foster a positive work environment.
  • Communicate team progress and emerging issues to Stateside Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinate with Stateside Manager/Supervisor the month-end production cut-off and KPI reporting.
Requirements:
  • College degree in finance or business.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in a large production-focused financial environment.
  • Strong familiarity with internal controls relative to financial transaction processing environments, including SOX controls.
  • Strong Excel and Word skills, with above-average proficiency required.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and training skills.
  • Strong PC skills and dual monitor use.
  • Oracle Payables experience preferred, Markview/KOFAX experience preferred.
