The primary function of the Risk Management Specialist is to identify and mitigate potential risks for high-priority projects. This involves analyzing information, developing strategies, and implementing recommendations to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and formulate risk mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective risk management
  • Review and refine internal and external communications to protect the organization's reputation
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of external communication and recommend improvements
  • Collect and review incident reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide guidance and advice to teams on risk management and project execution
  • Audit high-risk processes and implement improvements to address the root cause of risk

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Project Management, Stakeholder management, or Communications
  • Preferred but not required: Experience working in logistics industry or consulting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and written
  • Self-starter personality and strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Good collaborator and eager to learn
  • Proficient in Excel/GSheets to process data and analyze information
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience with tight deadlines and dealing with conflicting priorities, whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
