Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the organization and supervise the finance team, ensuring accurate, integral, and efficient financial operations and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and mentoring a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts, accountants, and clerical staff.
  • Providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members for professional development and growth.
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Leading the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to set financial targets and allocations.
  • Monitoring budget performance, analyzing variances, and providing insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Providing recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency based on analysis findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a leadership role within a finance team.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
