Drive Business Innovation

The ideal candidate will lead the development and enhancement of products from inception to launch, focusing on strategic planning, process leadership, and platform improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for engineering and business initiatives, including marketplace growth and eCommerce technology.
• Process Leadership: Oversee and lead business projects across the organization, ensuring seamless execution and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Platform Enhancement: Help streamline and automate processes, continuously improving platform and toolset features to drive business efficiency.

Requirements & Development Lifecycle

• Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering: Facilitate in-depth discussions with internal and external stakeholders to gather comprehensive product requirements and feedback.
• Product Definition & Prioritization: Capture high-level product requirements and translate them into detailed, actionable tasks for the development team.
• Business Solutions: Collaborate closely with business departments to design and develop technology-based process improvements.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PM & PROBLEM RESOLUTION

• Business & Technology Workflow Enhancement: Enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency by gaining a solid understanding of business and technology workflows.
• Project Facilitation & Completion: Ensure effective project completion across all stakeholders, from technology teams to various business functions.
• Conflict Resolution & Roadblock Management: Proactively identify and assist in the resolution of underlying conflicts, competing priorities, and roadblocks.
• Technical Understanding & Advocacy: Cultivate an overall technical understanding of the platform, acting as a bridge between technical capabilities and business needs.
• Business Re-engineering & Automation: Manage technology development efforts while bridging the gap to business re-engineering, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) and a minimum of 5 years of related PM experience ideally with eCommerce knowledge.
• eCommerce Platform Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of various eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Database systems, and reporting platforms.
• Product Documentation: Proven ability to document product requirements with sufficient knowledge, detail, and clarity for technical teams.
• Requirements Analysis: Strong experience performing thorough requirements analysis through independent research and testing methodologies.
• Project Management Tools: Expertise in utilizing modern Project Management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Methodology Acumen: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, GAP Analysis, SWOT Analysis, and other relevant project methodologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively to business audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex challenges.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively and interdependently within a dynamic team environment.
• Strategic Mindset: A strong inclination to challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas that drive business strategy and growth.
• Client-Facing Experience: Direct client-facing communication experience is desired but not mandatory.
