**Job Title:** Senior Full Stack Engineer

Pet Circle Manila is seeking a highly skilled and passionate full stack engineer to join our customer tribe. This is a hands-on, highly technical role in a fast-paced environment with a squad of engineers, a product manager, a QA engineer, and a designer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from designing and building robust solutions to deploying and monitoring them in production.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with a high degree of autonomy, bringing innovative and outside-the-box solutions to the team.
  • Collaborate closely with your squad to define technical requirements and architect scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Write clean, well-tested code in our primary stack, while also maintaining and modernizing our legacy applications.
  • Instill a culture of strong ownership and accountability for the software you build.
  • Be a champion for the customer experience, ensuring that every technical decision you make has a positive impact on the end user.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant hands-on experience in full stack software engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable and resilient applications.
  • Deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with backend experience in NestJS and Java.
  • Good understanding of testing frameworks like Jest, as well as performance testing and E2E testing.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, ideally with Google Cloud (GCP) or AWS.
  • Proven knowledge of software architecture and best practices for building cloud-native applications.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of how to automate and improve deployment processes.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring, observability, and the tools used to ensure application health and performance.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
