We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Lead Cloud Platform Engineer. This role involves providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions with clients, and managing client expectations while cultivating a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cloud Platform Engineers provide technical oversight and guidance to junior team members who are learning our approach to infrastructure engagements.
  • This includes serving as a coach in a player-coach model to help support upskilling and build confidence in infrastructure delivery.
  • Additionally, they foster relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and other areas of the practice.
Delivery Support Activities
  • The successful candidate will function as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • They will partner with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with project plans that capture key client decisions.
  • A strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and their implementation using IaC (Bicep or Terraform) is required.
  • They will also assist the delivery team in reaching billable targets by breaking through project blockers.
  • Facilitating change orders and project extensions when needed will be another crucial aspect of this role.
  • Moreover, they will drive alignment where there are technical mesh points between other practice areas by providing technical oversight and direction.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and how they may impact existing offerings is essential.
  • Possession of the AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
Business Development Leadership
  • Gaining exposure to other offerings in other practice areas will enable them to position themselves effectively in existing infrastructure engagements.
  • The successful candidate will identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities and raise them up.
  • They will lead and guide the infrastructure offerings committees that define and drive forward standard offerings for our practice.
Leveraging Factors That Help Grow Our Business
  • Reaching trusted advisor status within multiple accounts will support the growth of existing customer accounts in a 'Land & Expand' approach.
  • Leading and guiding multiple engagements that help enable our infrastructure team to scale out will be another key responsibility.
  • Supporting teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating possible escalations before they happen is also essential.
  • Creating reusable artifacts and content that enable team members to bill their time to clients will be a valuable asset.
