Private Equity Fund Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our team overseas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process financial reports for private equity fund clients in a timely manner.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to client inquiries regarding fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfall structures.
  • Review calculations for fees, ensuring compliance with fund agreements.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions, and address report and data analysis requests.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports with accounting standards.
  • Support year-end audits by assisting clients in responding to external auditors' inquiries.
  • Aid in onboarding new funds and launching existing ones by defining customized service models.
  • Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives to boost performance and client service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a focus on Accounting.
  • An internationally recognized accounting qualification is highly valued.
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity, or a mix of audit/fund administration and private equity experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
