Job Overview

The Accounting Executive role involves providing financial support to private interests and investments. This position requires strong technical expertise in accounting, a proactive approach to ensuring accurate financial operations, compliance, and reporting across a diverse investment portfolio.

This is an opportunity to work with a family office regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager based in Johor Bahru.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of investment portfolios and oversee all related accounting entries.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for related entities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of accounts, including investment vehicles, trusts, and holding companies.
Investment & Asset Administration
  • Track and record investment activities, including equities, real estate, private equity, and alternative assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of asset valuations, income, and distributions.
  • Assist with due diligence and documentation for new investments.
Process Improvement & Controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and risk mitigation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a family office, private wealth, or investment environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good spoken and written English and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a small team.
