Accounting and Financial Operations Expert

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our internal finance team remotely. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain full-cycle accounting, record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support audits and tax preparation processes in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Liaise with stakeholders and service providers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize ERP systems to process and manage financial data across entities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working in a private equity or investment firm environment.
• Familiarity with consolidations and intercompany transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
