Learning Experience Strategist

The role of the Learning Experience Strategist is pivotal in crafting engaging and impactful learning experiences, in collaboration with subject matter experts. This position contributes to the team supporting Learning Service Delivery within a Regional Learning Delivery hub or centre, aligning with the Global Learning Service Delivery Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practices in instructional design and learning technologies to create high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations.
  • Identify effective delivery mechanisms (e-learning, virtual classroom, face-to-face) for each project.
  • Set clear instructional end goals and develop content that meets them.
  • Design instructional graphics, user interfaces, and finished products for e-learning.
  • Enhance learner interactivity (exercises, activities) to optimize the learning process and learner experience.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games).
  • Develop assessment methods (tests, quizzes) to measure course effectiveness and learner knowledge attainment.
  • Identify and recommend improvements or replacements for subpar learning content.
  • Maintain project documentation, version control, and course folders.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Strong lesson and curriculum planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies (HTML) and multi-media formats (jpg, mp4, mp3).
  • Visual design skills (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts.
  • BA or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar relevant field.
  • Certification in Instructional Design (preferred).
